We are planning to join a tour with my friends. Mary wants to visit Oslo but Sarah and I prefer Dubai. In fact, we have learnt that they are very different from each other in many ways.
First of all, Dubai has a hot desert climate so it is hotter than Oslo. Also, we like shopping a lot and Dubai has been called ‘’the shopping capital of the Middle East’’. It has more than 70 shopping centres including the world’s largest shopping centre, Dubai Mall. We can get the advantages of the sales during Dubai Shopping Festival which is an annual event. Moreover, there are many places to visit and many activities to do in Dubai such as camel ride, helicopter flight. Dubai Miracle Garden is the world’s largest flower garden. Taking an excursion into the desert is a must for any visitor in Dubai. For sure, Dubai is more expensive than Oslo because it is the 22nd most expensive city in the world.
Cost of living in Oslo is cheaper than in Dubai. It is easy to use public transportation in Oslo because it has Norway’s most extensive public transport system. There are many museums and galleries in Oslo for art lovers and they are easily accessible with public transportation. Frogner Park is a large park located a few minutes walk away from the city centre.
After searching these two cities we finally have persuaded Mary and have decided to go to Dubai. May be we can take another tour to Oslo one day.
